Biography
Year of Birth: 1954.
She graduated in Psychology from La Sapienza University of Rome in 1982 and completed her specialization in Psychodiagnostics and Clinical Psychology in 1990. An expert in Clinical Criminology at the Ministry of Justice in Rome, she completed Freudian analytical training with Ignacio Matte Blanco and Jungian training with Dieter Baumann.
Since 1985, she has carried out research activities, participated as a speaker at national and international conferences, and authored scientific publications. She taught courses for the Catholic University of Rome and, since 2009, has continued her academic work in Switzerland, offering courses at Unitre in Zurich and Zug and in private institutes.
She has acquired extensive professional expertise. As a criminologist, she held various roles in the Roman prison of Rebibbia. As a court-appointed technical consultant (CTU) for the Civil Court of Rome, she conducted assessments in cases of separation, divorce, and child custody.
She is a member of several international associations and professional groups.
Psychotherapeutic practice has accompanied her entire professional life, resulting in deep experience and a strong orientation toward research. For this research, she has explored and lived the complex themes from Freud to Jung, arriving at new psychotherapeutic approaches. Numerous publications reflect the various phases of her work, including her interest in art and the psychoanalysis of art, which has shaped, from the very beginning, her understanding of the creative psyche of the human being.
Since 2008, she has been working as a psychoanalyst in her private practice in Zurich.
